Business Analyst

You will sit between clients and engineers and make sure what gets built is what was meant. That means running discovery workshops, writing acceptance criteria that can be tested, and keeping scope honest when everyone wants one more thing.
What you will do
- Plan and facilitate discovery workshops with client stakeholders, from exec sponsors to daily users
- Turn business processes into documented flows, data definitions, and prioritised backlogs
- Write tickets with checkable acceptance criteria before any development starts
- Manage scope trade-offs openly: what is in, what moved, and what it costs
- Verify delivered work against acceptance criteria alongside QA before client sign-off
- Maintain the decision log so every "why" has a written answer
What you bring
- 4+ years as a BA or product analyst on software delivery projects
- Proven facilitation skills: you can hold a room of eight stakeholders to an agenda
- Strong requirements writing; you can show acceptance criteria you wrote that a tester used verbatim
- Comfort reading data models and API contracts well enough to spot a gap
- Experience with agile delivery and backlog tools in a client-facing setting
- Plain, precise written English; ambiguity in your tickets becomes bugs
Nice to have
- Domain exposure to financial services, logistics, or property
- SQL literacy for validating data questions yourself
- Formal BA certification or training
The process
Portfolio review, one technical conversation about work you have shipped, and a session with the pod you would join. About two weeks end to end, and every application gets a human reply.
