Cookie Policy

Last updated 2026-06-01

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones entrebyte.com uses, and how you can control them. The short version: we use a small set of essential cookies to make the site work, plus analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. Nothing more.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. When you return to the site, your browser sends the cookie back, which lets the site remember things between visits, such as a preference you set or the fact that you have visited before.

Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another domain, such as an analytics service, are third-party cookies. Cookies also have lifespans: session cookies disappear when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

What we use

We keep our cookie use minimal. Because the site has no user accounts, there are no login or session cookies to manage. We use two categories only:

  • Essential cookies: needed for the site to function, such as remembering your cookie preferences and protecting our forms against automated abuse. These cannot be switched off through the site because the site does not work properly without them.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand which pages are read, where visitors come from, and how the site performs. The data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. These only run if you accept them.

We do not use advertising, tracking, or social media cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.

How to manage cookies

You are in control. You can accept or decline analytics cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice later by clearing the eb_consent cookie, which makes the banner reappear.

  • Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings, usually under Privacy or Site Data.
  • You can block third-party cookies entirely; the site will still work.
  • You can browse in private or incognito mode, which deletes cookies when you close the window.
  • Blocking essential cookies may stop the contact and consultation forms from working correctly.
